About Richard Gossling
Richard is a professional photographer who recently transitioned from a successful 36+ year career in corporate banking to pursue his lifelong passion for photography which is an interest deeply rooted in his family history.
Born in the historic town of Maldon, Essex (UK), Richard developed his skills exploring the local countryside and beyond, driven by a love for the outdoors and a keen eye for detail. Since joining his local photography club in late 2022, he has twice been awarded ‘Photographer of the Year’, with feedback from fellow professionals helping him elevate his craft and expand into new photographic genres.
While he began with landscape and event photography, Richard has since diversified into other genres, such as streetscape photography, architectural photography, street photography, portraiture photography, and product photography. He is also embracing videography and video production, using DaVinci Resolve Studio to create dynamic visual content.
Richard continues to grow as a visual artist, always learning and refining his approach. He uses professional grade cameras and lenses to ensure high-quality results, and keeps a clear distinction between his commercial work and personal projects.

Anti Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
I am committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of my business operations. Although I operate as a small photography and video production business, I recognise the responsibility to act ethically and to promote fair working practices within my own activities and the wider supply chain.
My Commitment
I will not tolerate any form of forced labour, exploitation or human trafficking. I am committed to working in a responsible and transparent manner and expect the same standards from any suppliers or partners I work with.
Supply Chain and Services
My supply chain is limited and mainly involves equipment suppliers, software providers and occasional freelance support. Even so, I aim to work only with reputable organisations that follow ethical labour practices. If I believe that any supplier is acting in a way that conflicts with these principles, I will take appropriate action which includes reviewing or ending the relationship.
Policies and Standards
I aim to:
Operate with integrity and fairness in all business dealings.
Support ethical employment practices.
Avoid working with any organisation involved in modern slavery or human trafficking.
Review this statement regularly and update it when required.
Raising Concerns
I encourage anyone who works with me or alongside me to raise any concerns about potential unethical practices. Any concerns will be taken seriously and handled sensitively.
Ongoing Commitment
Although the risk in my sector is low, I remain committed to acting with integrity and continually improving my approach to responsible business conduct.
This statement reflects my commitment to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will be reviewed annually.
